Very Disapointing, 'Apparently' they do not even brew on site anymore.All that nice land and historic WA brewry and they 'Apparently' no longer have a head brewer or servicable equipment.Such a loverly location though.

Paid $14 for a kids ‘hot dog’ which was a sausage on a small piece of thin bread! They need to say sausage on bread on the menu no one would pay that. Then one of our tables dockets were lost so half of us didn’t receive our meal until we asked what was going on. A real shame. Hopefully they read the reviews and improve or the place will be avoided. They did give a free beer and were apologetic for losing our food which was nice.

Service and food was very nice. Was skeptical after reading the reviews but was more than pleasantly surprised. The staff were lovely, and poured a really good beer. Food was brought out at a reasonable time and was tasty.

Very tranquil and quiet on weekdays and gets very busy on weekends so I would suggest making a reservation. Beautiful shady trees to sit under on sunny days and plenty of undercovered seating as well. I feel the food was a little too expensive for what you got but the beer was great.Dog friendly and children friendly with a playground, giant chess set and bar games available.Toilets were clean and the staff were happy and talkative.

We had a large table booked. What a huge disappoint!! Got a refund from our food order nearly 2 hours after we ordered. 3 lucky people on our table got there food. I person serving & taking orders. 1 waitress. On Sunday labour day weekend. Shocking!!!

Probably the.most average meal we have had in a long time. We were here in October and the menu selection was much larger. Minimal choices on offer- mainly burgers, pizzas and deep fried. Burgers were extremely dry. The fact that the place was mostly empty on a Saturday in January probably should have alerted us to something being not quite right. We left at 1:30pm and there were only 6 tables occupied

Be prepared to queue to find your booking, order drinks and food. If you wait long enough in the queue the out of the freezer choice on the menu will be reduced to pizza and chips. Then, if you are lucky the food order won’t turn up and you’ll need to get a refund. (Great refund policy) A lack of service taken to a new low.

Not great service at all. Waited 1 hour + for our food when not busy at all.Was apparently short staffed (which is fine if we were notified prior to ordering). Food arrived and the chips were so salty you could barely eat them. Absolutely no vibe over a WA long weekend.Will not be going back and won’t recommend them.

Went there today with family for Easter, food was very very ordinary, chicken wings uncooked, fish was not fresh, cheese platter was huge disappointment with lettuce ( old) out of a bag. Cheese was off cuts, everything on that plate was stale, the starters came at the end of our meal and considering not many were there, the service was slow. Have been there many times before but not frequenting again any time soon. Such a pity for such a lovely venue.
